The SDR Forum is seeking sponsors for the academic challenge. Sponsors are integral to the smart radio challenge as they set the challenge problem the student teams will address. In return for their support, Smart Radio Challenge Sponsors receive early access to any IP developed by the students, and will receive acknowledgement of their sponsorship on the Smart Radio Challenge website and in related media releases and promotional materials. 100% of sponsor contributions go to promoting the Smart Radio Challenge and to providing Scholarships for the Student teams – The SDR Forum retains nothing for use in other programs.  Suggested levels of sponsorships are:

• Gold sponsor - provides a $10 K sponsorship
• Silver sponsor - provides a $5K sponsorship
• Bronze sponsors - provides a $1K sponsorship

Sponsorship may be in the form of scholarship funds or in kind goods and services to be supplied to the student teams. Materials provided as goods and services must be standard “Commercial-Off-The-Shelf” products, or advanced “beta” products, and may include:

• Integrated Circuits, including RF/IF Devices, signal processing devices, A/D Converters, D/A Converters, etc.
• RF, IF, and Baseband processing boards or sub-assemblies
• Integrated development environments and tools
• Firmware development tools
• Modeling tools
• Documentation

Sponsors may also provide the teams training, but may not help them in developing the overall solution. Items provided by sponsors will remain the property of the sponsor, and unless otherwise stated by the sponsor, shall be returned to the sponsor upon completion of the challenge
