- This is a “student” challenge meaning that the problem must be solved entirely by student teams
- Teams will consist of graduate and/or undergraduate students.
- Teams shall have at least 3 students.
- Teams must designate a team leader who will act as the primary point of contact between the SDR Forum and the team
- The teams must have a faculty advisor. Faculty advisors are not allowed to contribute directly to the development of the solution, but rather to advise the teams on technology and process.
- The team members have to declare that they did not receive any help by third parties other than outlined in their documentation.
- The academic challenge is international in nature, and open to colleges and universities world wide
No more than three teams may enter the SDR Forum Academic Challenge from each college or university. Each team must work independently and have a different academic advisor.
